A recipe book for fish, commissioned by Out of the Box for HAPO (Hellenic Aquaculture Producers Organization) & Fish From Greece.
It contains 56 recipes for all level cooks and note pages for comments.

The aim was to create a cookbook good enough for a gift and practical enough for all cooks. The spiral binding was ruled to be imperative so that the book could lay flat on the counter with the least body mass (thus the small size).

The book incorporates a notes page for every recipe as well as divider (finder) pages for each of the five fish categories used in this book. The last page consists of 24 detachable, perforated, bookmarks to mark recipes of interest.

Andreas Papachristos was born in 1937 in Kastoria, Greece and died in Budapest in 5/2/2019.

He studied Fine Arts in Budapest (1957-1962) where he lived and worked. This catalogue contains part of his work dating from 1963 to 2002.

The goal in designing this book was to create a reading experience similar to that of being on the journey itself.

Quite a difficult task no doubt.

Just as a journey, the book should be unexpected, unpredictable and somewhat chaotic but at the same time, it should be reassuring, organized and indelible.

It took about a thousand hours (!) to complete and judging by the following comment made by a reader: "Every time I read it it's like reading a new book!", seems that our goal was met.

A very difficult project in terms of art-direction, not only because all schematics and gestures had to be accurately depicted and easily understood but also because the method itself is very complex to be given via a book.
